Overpressure Mode

Calibrated reference leaks to measure the sensitivity and to set calibration of sniffer type leak detectors.

The reference leak is used in the over pressure mode i.e. one side of the leak is pressurised with the test gas and the other side of the leak is at atmospheric pressure.

The leaks are suitable for all test gasses such as Helium, Hydrogen, Refrigerants, Halons, etc

The probe of the sniffer type leak detector is located near, or on the surface of the reference leak and the response of the leak detector is measured to establish the leak rate sensitivity.

The leak can also be fitted to pressurised equipment under test to verify the integrity of the leak test. The leak can be supplied in the format for your application.
