Calibrated reference leaks to measure the sensitivity of helium mass spectrometer leak detectors (M.S.L.D) in the vacuum mode and to set calibration

The reference leak is used in the vacuum mode i.e. one side of the leak under vacuum and the other side pressurized with the test gas either with its own gas reservoir or at atmospheric pressure.

The fast response of the leak when the test gas is applied makes it suitable for many applications to verify the integrity of the leak test.
