System design and Training
H.T.Products has a design service for leak detection systems together with associated test equipment and procedures.
We have a training facility for your staff, which includes basic vacuum technology and leak detection. We are able to offer a complete leak testing package to comply with your test specifications.
We have recently designed, built and commissioned a leak test system for CERN to leak test cooling tubes when welded to beam screens for the particle accelerator ring.
The test chamber was made from electro polished stainless steel tube 16 meters long with a helium leak test facility to test to a sensitivity of 5x10-12 mbar lit/sec.
A turbo molecular pumping system was built and a special leak detector provided with recorder output.
Helium pressurisation equipment was specified and assembled in a clean room, a full training programme was carried out and the operation monitored.
